Alex Westner Biography

My name is Alex Westner, and I am a local freelance photographer from Greeley, PA. Throughout the years, I have accumulated a diversified portfolio of photography ranging from the subtleties of butterflies and hummingbirds, to the raw power and speed of an 8,000HP Top Fuel Dragster. They include a variety of local and migrating birds (esp. bald eagles, hummingbirds and cardinals), black bears & deer, flowers, fall foliage, waterfalls, ice formations, streams, old barns, landscapes, sports, historical photos and more.

One photograph "Barn & Moon", has won first place at a local photo contest in NJ, and has been printed in a national publication. Several others have been shown through the courtesy of the Pocono Mountains Vacation Bureau and featured in "Natural History" magazine (a publication of the Museum of Natural History in NY). A recent photo has also been included in their "Pocono Mountains Attractions" brochure, and others have been distributed to various media. "Milford Magazine" in Milford, PA has fetured some of my photos in their "Guide to the Delaware Highlands" brochure. I also have a variety of framed photographs on display at "The Inn at Lackawaxen", a local restaurant in Lackawaxen, PA.
